Book Webites

Many series have extended activities online that kids can do to further comprehension, or just have fun!  There are interactive games and activities featuring your favorite characters.  Check em out!

Scholastic.com:  One of my favorite websites for information about kid's books.  Games, info, and message boards related to Tombquest, Spirit Animals, 39 Clues, Jedi Academy, Wings of Fire, Dog Man, American Girl, Geronimo Stilton, Dear Dumb Diary.... and many more!

magictreehouse.com is based on the series by Mary Pope Osborne.  More than fifty of Jack and Annie's adventures through time and space have entertained young readers for nearly two decades.  The website has a Mission Game, a Kid's Adventure Club, and even allows players to design their own treehouse!

Pbskids.org.  Yes I know it's a TV channel, BUT so many of those same characters began in storybooks, or now have books written about them.  If you child loves Curious George, Clifford, The Kratt Brothers, Arthur, Ruff Ruffman, or Pinkalicious, this is the place to inspire them!

For all your Dog Man, Dumb Bunny, Captain Underpants fans!  Videos, games and "more laffs" from your favorite kid-at-heart author.
