What I did on my Blog Vacation

So it's been a while since I've posted anything.  Like since the summer.  Let me explain.  Beginning in September and continuing throughout October I am involved in something known as PARP (Pick a Reading Partner). Our school is large, about 40 classrooms and 860 students.  I coordinate parent guest readers for each room, kickoff incentive gifts for each student, log minutes read from each classroom, decorate the school lobbies, and give grand prizes to each winning grade level (K-5). As you can imagine this is a tremendous undertaking. I would like to share pictures of this year's PARP bulletin boards for the lobby.

This year I choose the them "Read Around the World" for our school. One side of the building is K-2, with age appropriate titles to match.  The other is for 3-5. 

Now that this is officially over I can devote more time to the blog!
